Filip Strubbe is professor at the Liquid Crystals and Photonics group, Department of Electronics and Information Systems (ELIS). His research focuses on nanoparticle characterization at the single-particle level based on electrophoresis and advanced optical detection techniques. And, for electronic ink displays and liquid toner printing, it is investigated how nanoparticles get charged by surfactant additives and how nanoparticles and other charges are transported by electrophoresis.
