Bavo Robben obtained a master in engineering photonics in 2016. During the last year of his master he did his thesis within the LCP group on particle based photonic force microscopy. Afterwards he decided to stay within the LCP group and started working on electrophoresis in non polar liquids. He obtained a FWO-SB grant to study the particle surface interactions in non-polar liquids.
