Saso Mladenovski was born in Kumanovo, Macedonia in 1982. In April 2006 he graduated in Physics Engineering at Sts. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Macedonia. He is a member of Liquid Crystals and Photonics group from October 2006 when he started his PhD, doing research on Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLED). His research scope is optical loss mechanisms in OLEDs: outcoupling and exciton decay time change. His work during the fisrt two years at Ghent University was part of the Integrated OLLA Project, funded by the IST program of the European Commission's 6th Framework Programme. From September 2008 he participates in the Integrated European project OLED100.eu supported by the European Community's 7th Framework Programme.
