The LCP group @ the Lightfestival

Ghent will blaze with light for the third time at the Light Festival from 29 January until 1 February 2015. The long-awaited third edition of this festival will run for four days with a festival route even longer than last time, along which you can see all kinds of light sculptures, spectacular projects and installations by contemporary national and international artists. Students will demonstrate experiments with light and Ghent University has created an interactive route with scientific light installations in the UFO building. Enjoy the walk and experience the surprising variety of light creations.
The Liquid Crystals & Photonics group will show an installation about 3D displays, explaining how a 3D image can be created and observed.

Our setup at the Lightfestival was a success. About 50000 persons passed by our 3D camera! Some pictures can be found here
