Yu-Tung Hsiao obtained her bachelor degree in photonic engineering from National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan. She finished joint master program in photonic engineering between Ghent University and Sun Yet-sen university in 2022. Currently, she has been doing a PhD since 2022 September. Her research focuses on Ferro electric nematic liquid crystal including electro-optics of liquid crystals, liquid-crystal based devices and so on. In 2023, she was awarded a PhD fellowship by the FWO.
